NFL, Week 14 opening lines: Denver, New England biggest chalk

New England was expected to open as 12-point favorites against Cleveland while Denver was already installed as 2-TD chalk against the Titans. See the Week 14 NFL opening lines courtesy of Odds Shark.

Week 14 opens with a whimper Thursday night and ends with an absolute bang with dynamite matchups with late Sunday matches and a solid-looking Monday Nighter.

Somehow, a 2-10 team manages to be favored on the road on Thursday night, as the Texans opened at -3 at Jacksonville.

And the Patriots and Broncos predictably opened as the week’s biggest favorites as they host the Browns and Titans respectively.

But the Sunday Night action — Seattle small road favorites at San Francisco and the Panthers small road underdogs at New Orleans — are the must-wager games of the week, according to Jack Randall of OddsShark.com.

”Those divisional clashes will go a long way to deciding the playoff order in the NFC, so it’s compelling drama and compelling NFL betting odds drama too,” he said Tuesday.
