Michigan State vs Indiana betting odds: preview of week in betting

Indiana has lost 14 straight at Michigan State, but the Big Ten odds will be tight Tuesday when these teams battle for top spot in the conference. It tips off a busy week in sports betting.

USA TODAY Sports

The Michigan State Spartans are 14-0 SU and 11-3 ATS in their last 14 home games against the Indiana Hoosiers, and will look to extend that streak when they host the nation’s top-ranked team this Tuesday night.

Both currently sitting at 11-2 in the Big Ten standings, the winner of Tuesday night’s game will take over sole possession of first place in the conference. [ Full Matchup Stats and odds ]

Indiana (23-3 SU, 14-10) ranks second in the nation on offense with 82.9 PPG and Michigan State (22-4 SU, 11-11-1 ATS) ranks 18th in the nation on defense with 59.1 PPG against, creating a very intriguing offense vs. defense matchup in this one.

Michigan State is 6-2 SU and 5-3 ATS over its last eight games against Indiana.

NHL betting

Tuesday night the “Greatest Show on Ice” continues when the Chicago Blackhawks (12-0-3) host one of their hated rivals in the Vancouver Canucks (8-3-2). While every other team has already lost at least twice in regulation, Chicago still hasn’t picked up a regulation loss through 15 games.

The total has gone UNDER in each of the last three games between these two opponents. [ NHL odds on every game ]

Wednesday night one of hockey’s most bitter rivalries adds another chapter when the Pittsburgh Penguins (11-5-0) host the Philadelphia Flyers (6-9-1).

The Flyers are 9-5 SU in their last 14 games against the Penguins, but the Pens have won three of the last four meetings in this series including a 3-1 win in both teams’ season opener this year.

NBA betting

Back to the hardwood, there are only two NBA games scheduled for Thursday night and both parts of the doubleheader should provide plenty of entertainment.

First, the Eastern Conference leading Miami Heat (36-14 SU, 26-24 ATS) visit the Chicago Bulls (30-22 SU, 22-30 ATS). Miami is 6-3 SU and 5-4 ATS in its last nine games against the Bulls, but the Bulls are 3-1 SU and ATS in the last four meetings between these two teams including a 96-89 upset in Miami earlier this season.

The late game features two of the Western Conference’s best teams as the San Antonio Spurs (42-12 SU, 30-22-2 ATS) head to Los Angeles to take on the Pacific-leading Clippers (39-17 SU, 31-25 ATS).

San Antonio is 16-4 SU and 14-6 ATS in its last 20 games against the Clippers including last season’s playoff sweep, but has lost both of its games against the Clippers this year. [ NBA betting odds ]
