Battling for top spot in the AL West standings, the Texas Rangers will be looking to pay out against the Baltimore Orioles and the Detroit Tigers on the road in the week ahead.
Texas Rangers odds take hit in Baltimore, Detroit
Texas is hanging tough in its division, but their odds against division leaders Baltimore and Detroit are not great this week. Check out the betting preview for the Rangers this week.

And that could be good news for supporters of the Rangers at the sportsbooks, as Texas has had good success getting wins against both Baltimore and Detroit recently.
In the NL West, the Dodgers look to make up ground in a week that is realtively quiet in terms of online sports betting.
The Rangers are 7-3 over their past 10 games against the Orioles, with the two teams meeting for the first time this season when they open up a four-game set at Camden Yards on Monday night.
Yu Darvish (8-4, 3.02 ERA) is in line to start for the Rangers on Thursday night, and he gave up just two earned runs over 6 1-3 innings while fanning seven batters in his only career start against the Orioles last season. (See the latest baseball consensus picks data, updated daily at Odds Shark).
And the Rangers are also 7-3 in their last 10 games against the Tigers, with Texas winning three of the four games the two teams played in Arlington back in the middle of May. Detroit’s Max Scherzer, who heads into his Monday night start against Cleveland at 13-0 on the season, would be in line to start against the Rangers on Saturday.
The Oakland Athletics are the other AL West contender with the All-Star Break quickly approaching, and they’ll be looking to pay out on the road against the Pittsburgh Pirates early this week before they head back home to face the Boston Red Sox.
The Pirates head into the week in first place over in the NL Central standings, but they’ll be looking to buck an MLB betting trend when they take on the Athletics in a three-game series in Pittsburgh early this week - Oakland has managed to pick up the victory in each of the nine interleague matchups between the two teams since 2002.
And the Athletics have fared well against the Red Sox as well on the MLB odds, winning eight of their last 10 meetings dating back to last season. Oakland, however, lost two of three games at Fenway Park when the teams first met back in April this year, and totals bettors saw each of those three contests turn into OVER results.
The OVER has now paid out in each of the last six games between Oakland and Boston.
