Preseason longshots made the NFL playoffs last year, and once again, the odds are long against many teams in 2013. The odds to make the 2013 playoffs were announced today and compiled below.

There are plenty of other high-profile teams that are underdogs to make the playoffs. Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Indianapolis, Miami and Washington are also NFL underdogs when it comes to their chances of playing in the postseason, according to Bovada.
The Cowboys are a +150 underdog to play in January, which is tempting for some who bet on NFL lines before the season even begins. The Giants have the best odds in the topsy-turvy NFC East, though they’re just -115. And, perhaps surprisingly, the Redskins don’t get much respect.
The teams that seem the biggest locks to miss the playoffs are the usual suspects. Jacksonville is -3000 (or a +1500 payout on a $100 bet), while the Arizona Cardinals and Oakland Raiders are each -2000 (+1000 on a $1000 wager).
”Teams with the best odds of making the playoffs are also among the usual suspects,” said Jack Randall of OddsShark.com. “Denver is -1000 to make it in the lame AFC West, while New England is -600 in the equally lame AFC East and the 49ers are -350.”
