The Atlanta Braves have by far the biggest division lead in baseball right now, but they’re still looking up at both the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Detroit Tigers on the latest odds to win the World Series at the online sportsbooks.
World Series odds topped by Dodgers, Tigers
The Dodgers continue their epic run of victories and keep cementing their spot atop the World Series odds listings at most sportsbooks. The Tigers and Braves are close behind.

Atlanta, which heads into action on Tuesday night with a massive 16-game lead on the Washington Nationals in the NL East division standings, is currently holding down a line of 13/2 in odds to win the World Series odds at Bovada, which has them third behind both the Dodgers (9/2) and the Tigers (5/1).
Los Angeles has a 7.5-game lead on the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NL West standings heading into Tuesday night’s action, while the Detroit Tigers’ lead on the Cleveland Indians in the AL Central division race is 6.5 games.
The final team in the top tier of contenders on the World Series odds right now is the Boston Red Sox, who sit at 15/2. The BoSox, though, head into action on Tuesday night with a slim one-game lead on the Tampa Bay Rays in the tight AL East race.
Boston has put up the most wins and scored the most runs in the AL so far this year.
The second tier of teams on the current World Series odds at the sportsbooks has the St. Louis Cardinals at 10/1, the Rays and Texas Rangers at 11/1, the Cincinnati Reds, Oakland Athletics, and Pittsburgh Pirates at 12/1, and the Baltimore Orioles just a step back of those clubs at 18/1 to win the championship in the fall.
The Pirates, Cardinals, and Reds are engaged in a battle for the NL Central title, with Pittsburgh holding a one-game lead on St. Louis and a 2.5-game lead on Cincinnati heading into action on Tuesday night. The AL West race is also close, with Texas ahead of Oakland by just a half-game heading into Tuesday’s action.
Baltimore, with just four wins in its past six games prior to Tuesday, has fallen to 5.5 games behind Boston in the AL East and has slipped in the Wild Card race as well.
The New York Yankees are then at 40/1 on the odds to win the World Series this season as they desperately try to get back into the race for a Wild Card berth in the AL, with the Diamondbacks and Indians at 45/1, and the Kansas City Royals back at 50/1.
Bettors at the sportsbooks can still take a shot with some of the high-profile busts for this season, with the Los Angeles Angels and Toronto Blue Jays at 300/1 on the latest World Series odds, and the defending-champion San Francisco Giants set at 500/1.
