Trends were meaningless Thursday as all the betting angles and patterns pointed to the Rams defeating San Francisco. Will the rest of the Week 4 NFL betting trends stay true to form or flip-flop like the Rams game?
NFL betting trends favor Giants, Colts, Saints, Bucs
Denver faces the biggest point spread of Week 4, but trends point to the Broncos beating the odds -- and the Eagles. Check out all the Week 4 NFL betting trends.

The Indianapolis Colts are a nine-point road favorite Sunday against the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars, who are 0-3 straight-up and against the spread this season. Things don't get any easier this week with the Colts coming to town. In 14 games as a road favorite since 2009, the Colts are 12-2 SU and 10-4 ATS, according to the NFL database at OddsShark.com.
If recent trends are any indication, offense could be at a premium in the Colts-Jags game. The total has gone under in 12 of Indianapolis’ last 13 games against AFC South opponents and under in nine of Jacksonville’s last 12 games against division rivals.
The New York Giants are off to an 0-3 start and the Kansas City Chiefs are off to a 3-0 start, but betting trends suggest that those winning and losing streaks might be snapped on Sunday. New York is 6-1 SU and 7-0 ATS against Kansas City in seven meetings against the Chiefs since 1998. Furthermore, the Chiefs are just 1-6 SU and 0-7 ATS in their last seven games as the favorite at home. New York is a 4.5-point underdog.
The Tennessee Titans are a 3.5-point favorite hosting the New York Jets on Sunday, and will try to buck their recent trend of going just 2-7 ATS against AFC East opponents over their last nine games. New York has fared well against Tennessee with a 6-1 ATS record over the Titans in the last seven games between these two teams.
The Denver Broncos are 14-0 SU and 11-3 ATS over their last 14 regular season games, and could be adding to those win totals Sunday hosting the Philadelphia Eagles as a 10.5-point favorite.
Denver is 7-1 ATS in its last eight games against NFC East opponents, while Philadelphia is just 1-7 ATS in its last eight games against AFC West opponents.
On Monday Night, the New Orleans Saints are 6.5-point favorites at home hosting the Miami Dolphins. The Saints are just 16-17 ATS lifetime on Monday Night Football, but have been a great bet at home in recent years with a 14-3 ATS record as a home favorite. Both teams are 3-0 both SU and ATS this season.
