The Alabama Crimson Tide are just 1-4 against the spread over their last five road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five road games against SEC opponents. Alabama is favored on the road this Saturday visiting the Mississippi Rebels.
Alabama vs. Ole Miss betting guide and prediction
The Alabama Crimson Tide have been having trouble paying out on the road as they prepare to take on the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday (3:30 p.m. ET, CBS).

Alabama is a 6-point favorite, according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Crimson Tide are 7-2 SU and ATS in their last nine games as a favorite of six points or less, and bettors should jump at the opportunity to get Alabama at only -6.
After starting the season off 0-3 ATS, Alabama picked up its first cover of the season in a 42-21 win over Florida as a 14-point favorite at home. Despite turning the ball over four times, Alabama still won the game by three touchdowns due to an excellent attack on offense and a defense that held Florida to just 200 yards of total offense. With an extra week off to prepare for this game, the Crimson Tide should be sharper and do a better job of protecting the football.
OddsShark Computer Prediction: Alabama 48, Ole Miss 30
Ole Miss is off to a perfect 4-0 SU and ATS start, clicking on both sides of the ball, with 39 points per game on offense and allowing only 8.5 points per game on defense. Bo Wallace has passed for 1,271 yards and 11 touchdowns in four games, but has also thrown six interceptions over that stretch.
The Rebels have looked good to this point against inferior opponents; they’ll have a chance to prove themselves against one of the nation’s best teams on Saturday.
In their last 20 games as a home underdog, the Ole Miss Rebels are a dismal 1-19 SU. Alabama is a perfect 10-0 SU in its last 10 game against Mississippi and 3-2 ATS over the last five games in this series, winning all five of those games by at least 13 points. The Crimson Tide are too good to pass up on in this spot.
