The Lions have the tools on defense to give Chicago’s offense a tough day, but going up against Detroit’s slumping offense, the Bears should be able to keep the game within a touchdown and cover as a 7-point road underdog.

But over their last two games, Detroit has scored a combined 15 points and hit an 0-2 SU and ATS slump to fall out of a playoff spot with a 7-4 SU record.
Detroit’s 17.9 points per game rank 28th in the league ahead of only Jacksonville, Oakland, New York and Tennessee,four teams that have combined for six wins this season.

After suffering back-to-back blowout losses in which they surrendered a total of 106 points to fall to 3-6 SU and ATS, the Bears have now picked up back-to-back 21-13 wins over Minnesota and Tampa Bay. Chicago’s playoff chances are a long shot, but the Bears have at least stayed mathematically alive with their recent wins.
The Bears are just 1-3 SU and ATS in their last four games as a road underdog since going 3-1 SU and ATS over their previous four.
Thursday’s total is set at 47.5 points on the Week 13 NFL betting lines. The OVER is 6-2 over the last eight games these two teams have played in Detroit.
The Lions are just 1-9 SU over their last 10 Thanksgiving Day games. While their defense gives them a good chance of winning this game outright at home, the offense suggests that the Bears could be the better play at +7 on the road.
