NFL odds: Opening spreads for Week 15 betting

The Atlanta Falcons host the Pittsburgh Steelers in a game that is key to both teams’ playoff chances.

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

The Atlanta Falcons are 4-0 ATS in their last four games as a home underdog. The Falcons will be in that role on Sunday when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Atlanta is a 3-point underdog at home at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Steelers are just 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games as a road favorite, but have historically done well against the Falcons with an 8-1-1 SU record over their last 10 meetings. At 5-8 SU and 6-7 ATS, the Falcons control their own destiny in the lowly NFC South.

Jacksonville visits Baltimore Sunday and will be the betting underdog for the 42nd straight time. The Jaguars are 0-7 SU and 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven games on the road. Baltimore is 33-3 SU in its last 36 games as home favorite, according to the OddsShark NFL Database, but just 1-6 ATS in its last seven games as a double-digit favorite. The Ravens are going off at -14 on the NFL online betting lines at home Sunday.

The Cleveland Browns are 0-9 SU and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games in the month of December. The Browns host the Cincinnati Bengals this week, who are 7-2 ATS in their last nine December games. Cleveland upset Cincinnati, 24-3, as a 6-point road underdog the last time these two teams played. This time around, Johnny Manziel will be making his first NFL start and the line for this game has been set at a pick'em at the sportsbooks.

The Philadelphia Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys Sunday night with first place in the NFC East on the line. Home field has served as a disadvantage in this series with the road team winning six of the last seven games between the Cowboys and the Eagles. Dallas enters this game with a 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS record on the road and is a 3-point road underdog.

On Monday night, the New Orleans Saints are a 3-point road favorite visiting the Chicago Bears. Both of these teams have struggled of late with the Saints going 1-4 SU and ATS over their last five games and the Bears going 2-5 SU and ATS over their last seven games.
