With less than three weeks until Selection Sunday, no clear-cut favorite has emerged in odds to win the NCAA Tournament.
Florida moves to top of March Madness odds
March Madness is approaching and so is speculation on who deserves to be in the bracket and who deserves to be the top betting choice. Florida leads the charge right now.

Of course, the March Madness odds favor the Florida Gators right now - after last week’s collapse by the Syracuse Orange - but there are a number of teams that could step up as the frontrunner from now until then.
According to the current NCAA tournament basketball odds, Florida is a 5-1 choice to win the dance, followed closely by Syracuse at 15-2.
The Gators supplanted Syracuse as the No. 1 team in the latest Associated Press college basketball poll, the first time they’ve been atop the rankings since repeating as national champions in 2007. Florida is a road favorite at Vandy tonight.
The Orange lost twice last week and dropped to fourth. Kansas and Duke - ranked 5th and 6th, respectively - are both 8-1.
The sleeper, if you can call it that, for March Madness betting purposes, might be No. 18 Michigan State, which comes in after the top four choices at 17-2. The Spartans lost over the weekend to in-state rival Michigan, but oddsmakers still have them high on the futures list, indicating coach Tom Izzo’s bunch is dangerous.
No. 2 Wichita State, the only undefeated team in the nation, is next at 12-1, while third-ranked Arizona is 11-1. Defending champion Louisville, ranked seventh this week, is 12-1, while No. 17 Kentucky is 14-1 at 5Dimes.eu, and might be another lower-rated team to look at when considering playing early NCAA tournament odds.
Other intriguing longshots among the March Madness odds include Creighton (25-1), North Carolina (33-1), San Diego State (50-1) and UCLA (50-1).
Creighton boasts arguably the best player in the nation in Doug McDermott, North Carolina and UCLA are storied programs that become very dangerous in the postseason, and San Diego State has been in the Top 5 already this season, and has well-credentialed coach Steve Fisher.
After Super Bowl 48 generated a record $119.4 million at Nevada casinos this past season, March Madness betting may see an all-time high as well.
Las Vegas has become a hotbed for NCAA Tournament enthusiasts, especially over the first two rounds of the dance.
