Stanford vs. Kansas betting, UCLA vs. Stephen F. Austin in South odds

Stanford is an underdog to Kansas, and No. 12 SFA is a big dog to UCLA. South Region betting continues Sunday.

In seven NCAA Tournament Round of 32 games since 1999, the No. 10 Stanford Cardinal are just 2-5 straight up and 0-7 against the spread.

They’ll try to earn a different result on Sunday as a 6-point underdog against No. 2 Kansas. The night game in the South Region pits No. 4 UCLA against No. 12 Stephen F. Austin with UCLA as an 8.5-point favorite.

Stanford is 3-1 SU and 2-1-1 ATS during its last four games after going 1-3 SU and 0-4 ATS in its previous four. The Cardinal beat New Mexico outright as a 4.5-point underdog on Friday.

Leading scorer Chasson Randle scored 23 of the team’s 58 points in the win. The total has gone UNDER in nine of Stanford’s last 12 games.

Kansas won but failed to cover the spread against Eastern Kentucky on Friday, falling to 1-3 ATS in its last four games and 1-4 ATS over its last five NCAA Tournament games. The Jayhawks have struggled defensively in their last four games, allowing 81.3 points per game. Kansas is 4-0 SU against No. 10 seeds since 1996.

The NCAA Tournament betting card kicks off in St. Louis on Sunday at 12:15 p.m. ET with Stanford vs. Kansas. Later in the evening, the Stephen F. Austin vs. UCLA matchup starts at 7:10 p.m. in San Diego.

The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks stunned the nation with a 77-75 upset win against VCU on Friday as a 6-point underdog. The win brought Stephen F. Austin’s record in its last 29 games to 29-0 SU. No. 12 seeds are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games against No. 4 seeds.

UCLA’s 76-59 win against Tulsa brought the Bruins to 4-0 SU and ATS in their last four games. UCLA has been dominant as a big favorite this season with a 12-1 SU and 10-3 ATS record in its last 13 games when favored by eight points or more.

The Bruins are 0-5 ATS in their last five second-round games, and 1-3 ATS in their last four games against No. 12 seeds.
