With Saturday’s win over Missouri State the Wichita State Shockers improved to 33-0 SU, and they are 7-0 ATS over their last seven games.
Wichita State vs Indiana State prediction: MVC Championship betting preview
Wichita State can advance to March Madness with a perfect record and they are favored big over Indiana State in the MVC final.

The Shockers are one win away from a Missouri Valley Conference championship and a 34-0 SU record heading into the NCAA Tournament, and on Sunday they’ll face the Indiana State Sycamores for the MVC title.
They opened as 12.5-point chalk, according to OddsShark.com.
The Shockers have enjoyed one of the greatest seasons in the history of college basketball, amassing a 33-0 SU and 23-6-1 ATS record over the course of their dream season. Wichita State went a perfect 18-0 SU in conference play and demolished its Missouri Valley Conference foes by an average margin of 15 points per game.
While it’s true that the Shockers haven’t been tested this season due to their weak conference, they certainly pass the eye test with the 11th ranked scoring defense in the nation allowing 59.8 points per game and 50th ranked scoring offense averaging 75.5 points per game.
Indiana State is tasked with trying to find a way to stop the Shockers. The Sycamores have more to gain with an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament on the line, but they will need more than motivation to defeat steam-rolling Wichita State. Indiana State went just 12-17 ATS despite a respectable 22-9 SU record this season.
The Sycamores entered the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament on a three-game losing streak, but have won two straight (1-1 ATS) to advance to the finals.
The OVER is 3-1-1 in Indiana State’s last five games and 6-2-0 in Wichita State’s last eight games. Recent bouts between these two conference rivals have gone the other way though as each of the last five games in this series have gone UNDER the total.
Wichita State is 12-2 SU and 8-6 ATS over its last 14 games against Indiana State. The Shockers have managed to play great basketball all season long while maintaining a chip on their shoulders as doubters continue to question their legitimacy as a contender.
With all due respect to Indiana State, this championship game isn’t a question of whether or not Wichita State will win, but simply a question of by how much.
