Last season Atlético Madrid pulled off a shocker by winning Spain’s La Liga title.
Real Madrid, Barcelona top Liga betting future odds
Odds makers setting Spanish soccer odds don’t buy Atletico Madrid as a credible threat to win the league. Barcelona and Real Madrid top the La Liga future odds list.

However, the cash-strapped club lost several key players and oddsmakers do not see a repeat performance in the cards.
While Atlético had to let several players go, Real and Barcelona made some big off-season signings to improve their squads.
Real Madrid (5-1) and Barcelona (11-10) are the favorites to win the league with Atlético Madrid at 10-1. You can see that books perceive the La Liga as a three-team race with the next best betting odds being for Valencia at 125-1.
The Real attack is led by Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, and should be even better this season with the addition of World Cup Golden Boot winner James Rodriguez.
The squad also signed Toni Kroos, who played for Bayern Munich last season and was a part of the World Cup-winning Germany squad.
One concern for Real Madrid is defensive anchor keeper Iker Casillas. Not only did he have injury issues last season, but is coming off a very poor performance for Spain in the World Cup.
Barcelona made the biggest off-season move signing Luis Suarez, who led the Premier League in goals last season. He is suspended, yet again, for another biting incident and the first match he can play is the huge El Clasico rivalry with Real Madrid.
Barcelona had some issues on defense last season, but can their offense be stopped with Lionel Messi, Neymar and Suarez up front?
Atlético Madrid will have a hard time repeating this season with the players they lost. Gone are Diego Costa, Filipe Luis and Thibaut Courtois, who will all play for Chelsea this season.
The loss of Costa is a big one. To fill his shoes, Atlético signed former Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic. Still, that may not be enough, which is why they are at 10-1 to win the La Liga title.
Valencia (125-1) and Athletic Bilbao (150-1) are solid squads, but simply do not have the talent, especially up front. A top-four finish and automatic Champions League berth would be a solid season for both clubs.
