The Pittsburgh Steelers are 3-0 straight up and against the spread in their last three games as a home underdog. The Steelers will try for their fourth straight win as a home underdog this Thursday night hosting the Baltimore Ravens.
Ravens vs. Steelers 2015 odds: Michael Vick leads Pittsburgh as home betting underdog
The Pittsburgh Steelers will try to win without Ben Roethlisberger on Thursday night as underdogs hosting the Baltimore Ravens.

Pittsburgh is a 3-point betting underdog at home according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Steelers have been a home underdog just 13 times since December of 2000 and are an impressive 9-4 SU and 10-2-1 ATS in those 13 instances.
Coming into the season, Pittsburgh’s defense was expected to be the team’s weakness with a lot of inexperience and turnover on that side of the ball. But after giving up a relatively respectable 28 points against New England’s elite offense, the defense has shut down San Francisco and St. Louis in back-to-back wins.
Now, the defense will be called upon to be a team strength with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger out with a knee injury. Veteran quarterback Mike Vick takes over for the injured Roethlisberger. The Steelers are 6-1 SU in their last seven games against Baltimore played in the month of October.
The Baltimore Ravens entered the 2015 season as the favorite to win the AFC North. But just three games into the season, the Ravens are 0-3 SU and ATS and three games behind the division-leading Cincinnati Bengals.
Only two percent of 0-3 teams in NFL history have gone on to make the postseason, and if the Ravens hope to become one of those rare few they likely need a win on Thursday night. Baltimore is just 2-6 SU and ATS in its last eight divisional road games per the OddsShark NFL Database.
Thursday night’s total is currently set at 43.5 points. The UNDER is 5-1-1 in Pittsburgh’s last seven games.
This is a tough game to predict. Baltimore is not as bad as its record would indicate and has even held leads in the fourth quarter in each of its last two losses. But Pittsburgh’s track record as a home underdog and promising start on defense this season makes the Steelers tough to go against.
It’ll be a close game, but with the points and home field, Pittsburgh looks like the play as a 3-point dog.
