NFL odds 2015, Week 6: Patriots, Falcons among betting favorites

The NFL has six teams that are still undefeated through the first five weeks, but that could change with five of those six teams on the road in Week 6.

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

The New England Patriots are 6-0 straight up and 5-0-1 against the spread in their last six games. Now, the Patriots visit the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night in a rematch of last year's AFC Championship Game and they are favored again.

New England is a 7.5-point road betting favorite for Sunday, according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Patriots dismantled the Colts, 45-7, in the AFC Championship Game last season, and it was Indianapolis' complaints after that game that started up the DeflateGate controversy.

Indianapolis is 3-0 SU over its last three games despite having Andrew Luck out for each of the team's last two games with a shoulder injury.

On Thursday night, the Atlanta Falcons will try to remain undefeated on the road against the New Orleans Saints. The Falcons are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS this season and have one of the league's most explosive offenses averaging 32.4 points per game.

New Orleans is just 1-6 SU and ATS in its last six games at home, according to the OddsShark NFL Database. The Saints are a 3-point home underdog for Thursday.

The Carolina Panthers have had a bye week to prepare for their road game against the Seattle Seahawks this Sunday. Carolina is a 6.5-point underdog on the road against a Seahawks team that is 28-2 SU and 20-9-1 ATS in its last 30 games at home.

Seattle is 0-3 SU on the road this season and 2-0 SU at home.

Two other undefeated teams are on the road this week with the Denver Broncos going off as 5-point favorites against the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Bengals visiting the Buffalo Bills in a pick'em matchup. Denver is 3-0 SU and ATS away from home this season including last week's 16-10 win over the Oakland Raiders.

The only undefeated team that isn't on the road this week is the Green Bay Packers, who are 9.5-point favorites at home against the San Diego Chargers.

Green Bay improved to 12-0 SU and 9-2-1 ATS in its last 12 home games in last week’s 24-10 win over St. Louis. The Packers have won all three of their home games by double digits this season.
