Where: Michigan Stadium, Ann Arbor, Michigan
Betting Line / Total: Michigan -7 / 40 Points
The Wolverines have gone from a team early in a rebuild to a team in conversations for a playoff spot due to the dominance they’ve shown over their last five games. Michigan is 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS over its last five games and has outscored its opponents 160 to 14 over that run.
The Wolverines haven’t allowed a point in any of their last three games, and that includes shutouts against two quality teams in BYU and Northwestern. Michigan could solidify itself as a contender with a win this Saturday.
Saturday’s total is currently set at 40 points. The UNDER is 4-1 in Michigan State’s last five games and 5-1 in Michigan’s last six games.
Given Mark Dantonio’s track record against Michigan and as an underdog, it is difficult to give the Spartans seven points. But when you look at the recent form of these two teams and consider the game is in Ann Arbor, it would seem to be even more difficult to take the Spartans. Look for Michigan to pick up a statement win and cover.
