NFL odds 2015, Week 8: Patriots, Packers, Broncos top betting slate

Primetime features big games this week with Miami at New England on Thursday, Green Bay at Denver on Sunday and Indianapolis at Carolina on Monday.

Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

The Miami Dolphins are 0-5 straight up and against the spread in their last five games as an underdog against the New England Patriots in October. The Dolphins will try to snap out of that losing streak this Thursday night visiting the unbeaten Patriots at Gillette Stadium.

Miami is a 7.5-point underdog on the road this Thursday at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Patriots have won each of their last two games by a touchdown, defeating Indianapolis, 34-27, on the road and the New York Jets, 30-23, at home.

The Dolphins are 2-0 SU and ATS since coming out of their bye week with two double-digit wins.

The New York Jets are a 1-point road favorite visiting the Oakland Raiders this week. After dominating the San Diego Chargers on the road last Sunday, the Raiders are 3-3 SU and ATS. Oakland could potentially work its way into the AFC Wild Card race with a win this week.

New York is 3-0 SU and ATS in its last three games coming off a loss while Oakland is 1-10 SU and ATS in its last 11 games coming off an upset win.

Suffering a 27-20 loss to the New York Giants last week, the Dallas Cowboys are now 0-4 SU and ATS over their last four games. Dallas will try to turn its misfortunes around as a 5.5-point home underdog this Sunday hosting the Seattle Seahawks.

The Cowboys are usually a good slump-busting team with an 11-2 SU and 10-3 ATS record in their last 13 games coming off consecutive losses, but this losing streak has extended to four games.

One of the league's undefeated teams will fall this Sunday night when the Denver Broncos host the Green Bay Packers. The home team has won six of the last eight meetings between these two teams. Green Bay is a 2.5-point road favorite.

On Monday night, the Carolina Panthers host the Indianapolis Colts as 6.5-point favorites at home. Indianapolis is 14-5 SU in its last 19 games coming off a loss and will be trying to avoid a three-game losing streak this week.
