NFL odds 2015, Week 5: Packers, Patriots, Broncos among betting favorites

New England, Denver and Green Bay are among the teams looking to remain undefeated on the Week 5 NFL betting card.

The Green Bay Packers are 4-0 straight up and against the spread in their last four games against the St. Louis Rams. The Packers host the Rams this Sunday at Lambeau Field.

Green Bay is a 9-point home favorite, according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Packers are 7-1 SU and ATS in their last eight games overall and 11-0 SU and 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games at home. While the trends point in Green Bay's direction, the Rams are 2-0 SU and ATS as an underdog this season with upset wins against Seattle and Arizona.

The Denver Broncos are 6-0 SU and ATS in their last six divisional games and 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games against the Oakland Raiders. The undefeated Broncos open as a 5.5-point road favorite against the Raiders this Sunday.

Denver is 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS so far this season and has beaten Oakland by 13 or more points in each of the last seven games between these two rivals.

The New England Patriots are the biggest road favorite on the board this week going off at -7.5 against the Dallas Cowboys. New England is 5-0 SU and 4-0-1 ATS in its last five games and has had a bye week to prepare for the injury-depleted Cowboys. Dallas is just 3-4 SU and 1-6 ATS in its last seven home games, per the OddsShark NFL Database.

Two underachieving teams in the NFC clash when the New Orleans Saints visit the Philadelphia Eagles. Both teams are 1-3 SU so far this season but New Orleans has covered the spread in each of its last two games.

New Orleans is 3-0 SU and ATS in its last three games against Philadelphia and is a 4.5-point underdog on Sunday. Philadelphia is 0-3 SU and ATS in its last three games at home.

On Monday night the Pittsburgh Steelers are a 3-point underdog visiting the San Diego Chargers. Pittsburgh will still be without Ben Roethlisberger, but the Steelers enter the game with a 6-1-2 ATS record over their last nine games. San Diego is 1-6 ATS in its last seven games at home.
