Cardinals vs. Seahawks odds 2015: Seattle favored over Arizona for SNF

NFC West rivals are set to collide on Sunday Night Football when the Seattle Seahawks host the Arizona Cardinals at CenturyLink Field.

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

The Seattle Seahawks are 7-3 straight up and against the spread in their last 10 games against the Arizona Cardinals. The Seahawks will look to close the gap in the NFC West with a win on Sunday night at home against the Cardinals.

Seattle is a 3-point home favorite at CenturyLink Field at the sportsbooks for Week 10. In their last 13 games as a favorite of three points or less at home, the Seahawks are 11-2 SU.

The Seahawks stopped the bleeding on their season before entering their bye week, winning each of their last two games to move to 4-4 SU and 2-5-1 ATS. The defense was sensational over those two wins, allowing only 7.5 points per game to help Seattle’s struggling offense off the hook.

Seattle’s offense ranks 24th in the NFL in scoring this season with 20.9 points per game, and it will be interesting to see if the team was able to sort out its offensive issues over the bye.

Over the last two seasons, Seattle is 2-0 SU and ATS after a bye week. Arizona is just 1-4 SU and ATS in its last five games off a bye per the OddsShark NFL Database.

The Cardinals also went into their bye week on a two-game win streak, capping off a strong 6-2 SU and 5-3 ATS first half. Last season, Arizona went 2-5 SU and 3-4 ATS over its last seven games including two losses to Seattle down the stretch to surrender the lead in the NFC West.

The focus this season will undoubtedly be on a stronger finish, especially in these key games against the Seahawks. Arizona is 2-6 ATS in its last eight games as a road underdog in Seattle.

Sunday night’s total is set at 45 points. The OVER is 7-2 in Arizona’s last nine games overall.

It isn’t often bettors get the chance to bet on Seattle as such a small favorite at home. Arizona has been the better team this season, but with the bye week to get the defense prepared and home field advantage the Seahawks should pick up another win and cover against the Cardinals in prime time.
