The Indianapolis Colts are 0-5 straight up and 1-4 against the spread in their last five games against opponents outside of the AFC South. The Colts will try to get back to .500 on the season with a win this Monday night against the Carolina Panthers.
Colts vs. Panthers odds 2015: Carolina favored over Indy on MNF lines
The Carolina Panthers can stay undefeated this Monday night with a win at home as a betting favorite against the Indianapolis Colts.

Indianapolis is a 6.5-point underdog on the road according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. This marks the third time in the team’s last four games that the Colts are the betting underdog.
After advancing to the AFC Championship Game last season and making some big free agent moves this offseason, the Colts were considered a legitimate Super Bowl contender coming into the 2015 season. Indianapolis has looked far from that through its first seven games, going 3-4 SU and 2-5 ATS with all three of those wins coming against the Colts’ weak division rivals.
Plagued by a bad offensive line on offense and an inconsistent defense allowing 24.9 points per game, the Colts have their work cut out for them moving forward.
Some trends point towards a rebound game for the Colts this week. Indianapolis is 6-2 ATS in its last eight Monday Night Football road games and 8-1 SU and 7-2 ATS in its last nine games after losing as a favorite per the OddsShark NFL Database.
With last week’s convincing 27-16 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, the Carolina Panthers have seemingly established themselves as legitimate contenders. The win brought the team’s record to 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS and was another notch in the team’s belt when it comes to consistency.
Carolina has scored at least 20 points in every game, is averaging 27 points per game and allows only 18.3 PPG. The Panthers are 4-1 SU and ATS in their last five games played in November.
Monday night’s total is set at 46.5 points. The UNDER is 7-2 in Carolina’s last nine home games.
The Colts come into this game with much more desperation, and despite the team’s struggles have lost by a touchdown or less in their last two games. Carolina is likely to win outright, but Andrew Luck and the Colts should keep it close as a 6.5-point dog.
