The Green Bay Packers are 7-1 straight up and 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games against division rivals in the NFC North. On Thursday night, the Packers will try to continue that trend of divisional dominance hosting the Chicago Bears.
Bears vs. Packers 2015 odds: Green Bay increasing betting favorite vs Chicago
Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers play host to the Chicago Bears as large betting favorites in the night game on Thanksgiving Day.

Green Bay is an 8.5-point home favorite on Thursday according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Packers opened as a 7-point favorite, but the line has moved to -8.5 with betting action coming in on the Packers throughout the week.
Coming off three straight losses as a favorite including an ugly 18-16 loss at home to the Detroit Lions, the Green Bay Packers entered their game against the Minnesota Vikings last week as a 1-point road underdog.
But as the Packers often do against divisional opponents, Green Bay dominated the game from start to finish and came away with a 30-13 win, taking back control of first place in the division over the Vikings. The Packers are now 7-3 SU and 6-4 ATS on the season.
In their last 11 games coming off an ATS win, the Green Bay Packers are 11-0 SU per the OddsShark NFL Database.
The Bears’ offense came to a halt last week when the Denver Broncos came to town, handing the Bears a 17-15 loss at home. But going off as a 2.5-point underdog at home, Chicago did manage to cover the spread and improve to 6-1 ATS over its last seven games with a 4-3 SU record over that stretch.
This week’s game will be Chicago’s 16th straight game as an underdog. Chicago is just 1-9 ATS in its last 10 games against Green Bay.
Thursday night’s total is set at 44.5 points. The UNDER is 6-1 in Green Bay’s last seven games and 6-2 in Chicago’s last eight games.
While a Packers blowout wouldn’t come as a big surprise, the Bears have been a consistent money maker for their backers as an underdog of late, keeping games close and even winning them outright.
With the team playing well on both sides of the ball and getting 8.5 points, look for the Bears to pick up another cover in Green Bay.
