UFC 194 odds, Aldo vs. McGregor: Aldo the underdog vs McGregor on betting lines

Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor headlines an exciting UFC betting card at UFC 194 this Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Jose “Scarface” Aldo has not lost a professional fight in over a decade, going a perfect 18-0 over his last 18 fights. This Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, Aldo will clash with Conor McGregor in a featherweight title unification fight.

Jose Aldo is a +105 betting underdog to retain his Featherweight Championship on Saturday according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Conor McGregor is going off as a -135 favorite.

Since losing to Luciano Azevedo by submission as a 19-year-old back in 2005, Jose Aldo has not only strung together 18 straight wins but also developed into one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in all of MMA.

While five of his last seven wins have come via decision, Aldo does have 14 career knockouts and an extremely powerful knockout kick for which McGregor will have to watch out. Aldo is 25-1-0 over his professional career and 7-0 in the UFC.

Conor “Notorious” McGregor is one of the best personalities in the MMA today. He’s brash, arrogant, and an excellent fight promoter and trash talker. But McGregor also backs up all his talk in the Octagon with excellent movement and striking ability, earning this fight against Aldo with 14 straight professional wins and a 6-0 record in the UFC.

McGregor's 18-2 career record is highlighted by 16 knockouts with each of the fighter's last four wins coming by KO. This is a fight that MMA fans have been waiting for, and it's finally here. These are the two best featherweights in the world today, and only one will come out of this fight the champion.

Another championship is on the line at UFC 194 when Chris Weidman defends his middleweight title against Luke Rockhold. Weidman (13-0-0) burst onto the scene in 2013 with back-to-back wins over Anderson Silva, and has since also picked up wins over Lyoto Machida and Vitor Belfort. Rockhold (14-2-0) is one of the most athletic fighters in the division that should give Weidman a nice challenge. Weidman is a -165 favorite over Rockhold at +135.

Other fights on the Main Card include Ronaldo Souza (-160) vs. Yoel Romero (+130) and

Demian Maia (-155) vs. Gunnar Nelson (+125)
