NFL odds 2015, Week 15: Packers, Panthers road betting favorites

The Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers will get late-season road tests as betting favorites in this week’s NFL odds action.

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

The Green Bay Packers are 6-0 straight up and 5-1 against the spread in their last six games against the Oakland Raiders dating back to 1990. The Packers will try to extend their winning streak against the Raiders with a road win this Sunday in Oakland.

Green Bay is an early 3-point road favorite for this week at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. With three wins and covers in their last four games, the Packers are now in sole possession of first place in the NFC North with a 9-4 SU and 8-5 ATS record.

The Packers are 12-2 SU and 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games against AFC West opponents.

The Carolina Panthers, the co-favorite on this week's updated Super Bowl betting futures, extended the longest regular-season win streak in the NFL last week with relative ease by blowing out the Atlanta Falcons, 38-0, at home.

Now 13-0 SU and 10-3 ATS, the Panthers put their streak on the line this Sunday on the road against the New York Giants, opening as a 4-point road favorite.

New York is just 1-4 SU and ATS in its last five games in Week 15 of the NFL season.

The Cincinnati Bengals received crushing news this week that Andy Dalton would be lost for the rest of the regular season and likely beyond with a fractured thumb. This Sunday, the Bengals will move forward with backup quarterback AJ McCarron as a 4-point road favorite against the San Francisco 49ers.

Cincinnati is 8-2-1 SU and 9-2 ATS in its last 11 games coming off a loss the week before. San Francisco is 10-2 SU in its last 12 games against the Bengals, according to the OddsShark NFL Database.

On Sunday night, the Arizona Cardinals are a 3.5-point road favorite over the Philadelphia Eagles. The Cardinals have a 6-2 ATS record in games following an ATS loss. They had one last week after failing to cover the spread against the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night.

Monday night's game pits the Detroit Lions against the New Orleans Saints in New Orleans. The Saints are just 2-9-1 ATS in their last 12 games as the betting favorite, but they'll be in that role at home this Monday going off at -3 hosting the struggling Lions.
