The Villanova Wildcats are a perfect 5-0 both SU and ATS over their last five games. The Wildcats will try to stay hot and take a firm hold of the Big East in the standings with a win on Saturday on the road against Butler. This will be the toughest road test on Villanova’s schedule so far this season.
Villanova Wildcats vs. Butler Bulldogs betting preview and odds
Villanova and Butler battle for the top spot in the Big East this Saturday at Butler.

Villanova is currently going off at 25/1 odds to win the 2015 NCAA Tournament according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
With the Big East no longer the basketball powerhouse that it once was, some experts believe that the Villanova Wildcats are being overlooked by some college basketball fans this season. Villanova has compiled an impressive 22-2 SU and 16-8 ATS record so far, and is strong on both sides of the ball ranking in the top 35 nationally in both scoring with 74.8 points per game and defense allowing 60.3 points per game. Senior guard Darrun Hilliard II leads the way on offense with 13.4 points per game.
Like Villanova, Butler is on a five-game winning streak and may be getting overlooked a bit nationally. The Bulldogs are on a 7-1 SU and 6-2 ATS run that has brought their season record up to 18-6 SU and 15-8 ATS. Junior guard Kellen Dunham is averaging 16.7 points per game and hits from three-point land on 42% of his attempts. At home, the Bulldogs are 12-1 SU and 8-4 ATS so far this season. Butler is a 66/1 longshot to win the NCAA Tournament this year on the college basketball futures.
The Wildcats are 3-0 SU and 2-1 ATS in three games against Butler since 2013 according to the OddsShark College Basketball Database, including a 67-55 win at home earlier this season. The total has gone UNDER in each of the last two games between these two teams and in four of Villanova’s last five games overall.
This is a big game for both teams. Without many chances to make a statement in the Big East, both teams will be looking for a win over the other dominant team in their conference this Saturday night.
