NBA Finals betting: Warriors vs. Cavaliers Game 6 odds and stats

The favored Golden State Warriors can win their first NBA championship since 1975 with a victory Tuesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The Golden State Warriors are 3-1 SU and ATS in four closeout games so far this postseason. The Warriors can close out their series against the Cleveland Cavaliers and win the championship with a victory on the road Tuesday night at the Quicken Loans Arena.

Golden State is a four-point road favorite in Game 6, according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. In Game 4 at Cleveland, Golden State was a four-point favorite and won 103-82 on the road.

The parallels between this series and the Memphis series for Golden State are too clear to ignore. The Warriors were upset at home in Game 2 and fell down in Game 3 as Stephen Curry and the offense struggled, only to bounce back with double-digit wins and covers in both Game 4 and Game 5.

Golden State closed out that series with a double-digit road win in Game 6, and will try to do the same again in this series.

Curry was sensational in Game 5 of the NBA Finals, racking up seven three-pointers and 37 points while leading the Warriors to a 104-91 win. Golden State is 4-2 SU and ATS over its last six road games, according to the OddsShark NBA Database.

LeBron James is making a strong case to be the NBA Finals MVP regardless of whether his team wins or loses the series. James has averaged a sensational 36.6 points, 12.4 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game in the finals, but the Cavaliers still trail in the series 3-2.

Cleveland is hoping to take advantage of its home court advantage to force a Game 7. The Cavaliers are 5-1 SU and 3-3 ATS over their last six playoff home games.

Game 5's total was graded as a push, bringing the UNDER to 6-1-1 in the last eight games between Cleveland and Golden State. Tuesday night's total for the Warriors vs. Cavaliers betting matchup is set at 194 points at the sportsbooks.

Since the fourth quarter of Game 3, the Golden State Warriors have taken over control of this series. For Cleveland to extend this series, the supporting cast around James will need to play excellent defense and chip in on offense, as well.
