Novak Djokovic has advanced to the finals in 13 of the last 18 major tennis tournaments dating back to 2011. He has won seven major titles over that span, and will try to add another in the Wimbledon Championships starting this Monday in London.

Novak Djokovic will try to defend his Wimbledon title and win the event for the third time in five years as the betting favorite at the sportsbooks.

Djokovic is currently a 5/4 favorite to win at Wimbledon at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Serbian superstar is a two-time winner at Wimbledon, winning the tournament for the first time in 2011 and again in 2014 after finishing as the runner-up in 2013.
Djokovic already has five singles titles under his belt in 2015, including the Australian Open, and is looking to win two major titles in the same season for the first time since he won three in 2011.
Andy Murray has three singles titles so far in 2015, including a tune-up win in the Queen’s Club in London last week. As a Great Britain native, Murray is a heavy crowd favorite at Wimbledon, as was on full display when he won the tournament in 2013.
Murray finished runner-up at the Australian Open this year, and if he can make another deep run in this tournament the crowd could help push him over the top at 11/4 to win the event.
At 33 years old, Roger Federer is still playing well, winning four singles titles so far this season and finishing runner-up in two others. Since winning the Australian Open in 2010, Federer has only won one tennis major in his last 21 attempts -- and that was in his 2012 win of the Wimbledon Championship.
Federer has amassed seven Wimbledon titles over the course of his illustrious career and is going off at 6/1 at the sportsbooks to add another over the next two weeks.
Other players expected to be in the mix for the Wimbledon title include Rafael Nadal (10/1), Stan Wawrinka (14/1), Grigor Dimitrov (20/1), Kei Nishikori (25/1) and Milos Raonic (25/1). Nadal has been a Wimbledon finalist five times in his career, winning the tournament twice in 2008 and 2010, and last making it to the finals in 2011.
