The Indianapolis Colts are 7-1 straight up and 5-2-1 against the spread in their last eight games against the Buffalo Bills. The Colts hope that trend of success will continue this Sunday when the two teams meet in Buffalo.
Colts vs. Bills 2015 odds and lines: Indianpolis sits as favorite at Buffalo
The Indianapolis Colts start their season with a tricky road test, visiting the Buffalo Bills as small betting favorites this Sunday afternoon.

Indianapolis is going off as a 2.5-point road favorite according to sports books monitored by OddsShark.com. In their last eight games as road favorites the Colts are 7-1 SU and 6-2 ATS.
After a long and bitter offseason, the Indianapolis Colts finally have the chance to put the past behind them and take another shot at a Super Bowl run in 2015. In addition to having a chip on their shoulder after falling short in the AFC Championship Game last season, Andrew Luck and the Colts also have some new weapons on offense.
Frank Gore adds immediate respectability to the running game, and wide receiver Andre Johnson adds another weapon for the Indianapolis aerial attack. The Colts are 9-2 SU and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games as a favorite of four points or less, according to the OddsShark NFL Database.
The Buffalo Bills put together a surprisingly strong season in 2014, falling just short of a playoff spot with a 9-7 SU and ATS record. The offense struggled all season long, but the defense emerged as an elite unit, especially against the pass.
New head coach Rex Ryan should help the defense continue to excel, and running back LeSean McCoy and rookie quarterback Tyrod Taylor should give the offense a boost. Buffalo is 4-1 ATS in its last five September games.
Sunday’s total is currently set at 45 points. The UNDER is 5-0 in Indianapolis’s last five games and 7-1 in Buffalo’s last eight games. Buffalo went 13-3 on the UNDER in 2014.
This game provides an interesting strength vs. strength matchup as the Colts bring one of the best passing attacks in the NFL into town to face one of the toughest pass defenses in the league. With so many new faces on offense, the Colts may take a few weeks to gel, and Buffalo’s defense is good enough to wreak some havoc.
Look for the Bills to pull off the upset in a successful debut for Tyrod Taylor.
