Daily fantasy betting: Eddie Lacy tops RB fantasy points odds

Beyond sides and totals, bettors at the sportsbooks can pick which players will have the most daily fantasy points on opening week as well.

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Eddie Lacy was among the most productive running backs in football last season, earning 17.2 fantasy points per game. Lacy could rack up plenty of points for his backers this week going up against a shaky Chicago Bears defense.

Three of the league's best running backs are pitted against each other in an NFL fantasy football prop at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Which of the following running backs will record the most Daily Fantasy Points in Week 1: Eddie Lacy (+150), Marshawn Lynch (+180) or Adrian Peterson (+180)?

Lacy built on his strong rookie year with another great year in 2014, rushing for 1,139 yards and nine touchdowns while adding 427 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 42 catches. With Green Bay Packers star wide receiver Jordy Nelson out for the season, Lacy could be among the Packers receiving more focus on offense this year.

Green Bay is 12-3 SU and 10-5 ATS over its last 15 games, per the OddsShark NFL Database.

Lynch had more fantasy points in 2014 than Eddie Lacy did, earning 19.8 points per game in the Seattle Seahawks' run to the Super Bowl. Lynch rushed for 1,306 yards and 13 touchdowns last season and had 37 catches for 367 yards and four touchdowns as well. Lynch will continue to be a key focal point for the Seahawks on offense, but he faces a tough defense this week at St. Louis.

Will Peterson show any signs of rust in Minnesota's game on Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers? The star back has racked up 3,363 rushing yards and 22 rushing touchdowns over his last two full seasons in 2012 and 2013, but he missed all but one game last season due to a league suspension.

The 49ers figure to be a lot weaker on defense than they have been in past years, and Peterson could make a statement that he is back with a big game on Monday.

A bonus prop this week asks which of the following quarterbacks will earn the most Daily Fantasy Points in Week 1: Aaron Rodgers (+120), Andrew Luck (+160) or Russell Wilson (+275)? Rodgers has 617 passing yards and 10 passing touchdowns in his last two games against the Bears.
