Julio Jones was the most productive wide receiver in fantasy football last week, earning 38.1 points in daily fantasy leagues. Jones and the Atlanta Falcons will be on the road this Sunday against the New York Giants.
NFL Week 2 odds: Falcons Jones highlights fantasy football betting matchups
Julio Jones of the Atlanta Falcons is featured in one of the notable fantasy football betting matchups for Week 2 of the NFL season as he takes on the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Antonio Brown.

Jones and Antonio Brown are going off at -120 each at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com in a head-to-head battle between the two wide receivers over which player will earn more daily fantasy points this Sunday. Jones had nine catches for 141 yards and two touchdowns last week and gets a reasonably favorable matchup against the Giants this week.
Brown ranked fourth in daily fantasy points among wide receivers last week with nine catches for 133 yards and one touchdown for 31.3 points. Brown and the Steelers are at home on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, who looked strong on defense in their season opening 20-3 win over Minnesota.
Adrian Peterson was one of the victims of that strong performance by San Francisco’s defense, gaining just 51 total yards as a fantasy bust last week with only 8.2 points. Peterson will try to bounce back this week as a +110 underdog to finish with more fantasy points than Matt Forte, who is a -150 favorite in this head-to-head matchup.
Peterson’s Vikings are at home against the Lions on Sunday.
Forte was a fantasy stud in 2014, and he picked up where he left off last week with 166 total yards and a touchdown in a 30.6-point performance. The Bears are at home against the stingy Arizona Cardinals defense this week.
Two of the NFL’s top quarterback’s clash in a head-to-head prop bet over who will earn more fantasy points between Andrew Luck and Aaron Rodgers, with both players going off at -120.
Luck had a disappointing season opener against the tough Buffalo Bills defense last week, but he gets a more favorable matchup this week at home against the New York Jets.
Rodgers will be tasked with facing the Seattle Seahawks at home on Sunday Night Football. The Seahawks historically have an excellent defense, but the group didn’t look sharp in allowing 34 points and 297 passing yards to the St. Louis Rams last week.
