Chiefs vs. Packers 2015 odds: Green Bay MNF betting favorite at Lambeau Field

The Green Bay Packers will look to continue their dominant stretch at home this Monday night as favorites against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Ray Carlin-USA TODAY Sports

The Green Bay Packers are 10-0 straight up and 7-2-1 against the spread in their last 10 games at Lambeau Field. The Packers are favored to make it 11 straight wins on Monday night when they host the Kansas City Chiefs.

Green Bay is a 6.5-point home favorite at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. In their last seven regular season games as a favorite of 10 points or less, the Packers are a perfect 7-0 ATS.

While it didn't completely take the sting away from last year's loss in the NFC Championship Game, Green Bay did get some revenge against the Seattle Seahawks last Sunday with a 27-17 win at home. With the win, the Packers improved to 2-0 SU and ATS on the season.

Eddie Lacy and Davante Adams were banged up in the game against Seattle but are expected to be ready for action on Monday night. Green Bay is 4-1 ATS in its last five Monday Night Football games per the OddsShark NFL Database.

Kansas City scored a late go-ahead touchdown on the Denver Broncos last Thursday night and appeared to be on its way to a 2-0 SU and ATS record. Instead, a Peyton Manning touchdown drive and a fumble recovered for a touchdown in the final minute of regulation left the Chiefs reeling with a 31-24 loss at home.

The Chiefs are tasked with bouncing back against one of the NFL's best teams this week on the road.

Historically, the Chiefs have enjoyed success against the Packers with a 6-1 SU and ATS record in their last seven games against Green Bay.

Monday night's total is set at 49 points at the sportsbooks. The OVER is 7-3 in Green Bay's last 10 home games and 4-0 in Kansas City's last four games in September.

The Chiefs are the more well-rested team coming into this game having played last Thursday night while the Packers played on Sunday night. This probably won't matter; Kansas City is a solid team, but the Packers are an elite one, especially at home.

Green Bay has been a consistently safe bet with Rodgers healthy under center, and should cover again this Monday night as a 6.5-point favorite.
