The Alabama Crimson Tide are 0-5-1 against the spread in their last six games on the road. The Crimson Tide will try to bounce back from a loss to Ole Miss two weeks ago on the road Saturday against the Georgia Bulldogs.
College football odds, Week 5: Alabama, Notre Dame early underdogs
The intensity heats up around the nation in college football this week as teams enter conference play, with the Tide and Irish early odds underdogs.

Alabama is going off as a 2-point road underdog at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. This spread is significant as it would be the first time in 73 games that the Crimson Tide are not the betting favorite, assuming the line doesn’t move in their direction as the week moves on.
Georgia has won five straight games, and running back Nick Chubb could make a Heisman statement with a big game against Alabama this week.
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are 10-1 SU in their last 11 games in the month of October. The Irish will get a tough test this Saturday night on the road against the Clemson Tigers as a 2-point road underdog.
Clemson has also enjoyed its share of success in the month of October with a 10-1 SU record in its last 11 October home games. Both teams are currently undefeated.
The UCLA Bruins announced themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the Pac-12 last week with a 56-30 road win over the Arizona Wildcats. UCLA will try to follow that dominant performance up at home this Saturday as a 13.5-point favorite against the Arizona State Sun Devils.
Projected by some to be a potential contender to win the Pac-12, ASU is off to a disastrous 2-2 SU and 0-4 ATS start to the season.
TCU's undefeated season hung by a thread last week, but the Horned Frogs were able to escape Texas Tech with a 55-52 victory and a 4-0 SU record. The Horned Frogs fell to 1-3 ATS in the process, and will now look to cover a 17.5-point spread at home this Saturday hosting the Texas Longhorns.
Texas is just 1-3 SU and ATS on the season thus far, but has lost its last two games by a combined four points.
Two 3-0 SU teams clash Saturday as the Oklahoma Sooners host the West Virginia Mountaineers. Oklahoma is 13-3 SU in its last 16 home games, according to the OddsShark College Football Database, and is a 7-point favorite this weekend.
