The Denver Broncos are 10-3 straight up and 7-4-2 against the spread in their last 13 games against AFC North opponents. The Broncos hope to continue that success with a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers at home this Sunday afternoon in the Divisional round.
Steelers vs. Broncos odds, 2016 NFL playoffs: Pittsburgh touchdown underdog against Denver
The Pittsburgh Steelers continue their postseason run this Sunday afternoon on the road against the top seed Denver Broncos at Mile High.

Denver is a 7-point home favorite this weekend, according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Pittsburgh is 9-2-1 ATS in its last 12 games going off as an underdog of seven points or more with five outright upsets.
Many believed that Denver’s final game of the regular season would be an easy tune-up game as the Broncos were a 10-point home favorite against the San Diego Chargers.
Instead, early struggles from Brock Osweiler kept the Chargers in the game, and eventually paved the way for Peyton Manning to get back under center for the Broncos. Denver went on to win the game but failed to cover the spread, wrapping up a 12-4 SU and 7-7-2 ATS record that was good enough to secure the AFC’s top seed.
Recent history has not been good to Denver in this round as the Broncos are 1-3 SU and 0-4 ATS in their last four Divisional round games per the OddsShark NFL Database.
The Pittsburgh Steelers looked to be down and out trailing 16-15 in the closing moments of last Saturday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals, but a big turnover forced by the defense and some costly penalties by the Bengals helped propel the Steelers to an 18-16 win.
The win took its toll, however, as quarterback Ben Roethlisberger went down with a shoulder injury and wide receiver Antonio Brown suffered a concussion. Roethlisberger, Brown, and running back DeAngelo Williams are all listed as day-to-day. Pittsburgh is 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS in its last four divisional round games.
Sunday night’s total is set at 39 points. The OVER is 9-2 in the last 11 games between the Steelers and the Broncos.
It’s hard to make an accurate guess on this game with so much injury uncertainty on the Steelers sideline. But Pittsburgh has been tenacious on both sides of the ball all season long, and even if banged up the Steelers should make this a game as a 7-point underdog.
