The New England Patriots are a perfect 4-0 straight up and against the spread in four games since Tom Brady’s return. Coming off their bye last week, the Patriots will look to keep rolling at home against the Seattle Seahawks.
Seahawks vs. Patriots odds 2016: New England takes strong ATS run into Sunday night
The New England Patriots host the Seattle Seahawks as big home favorites at the sportsbooks in a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday night.

New England is a 7.5-point home favorite in Foxborough at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Patriots are 19-0 in their last 19 home games coming off consecutive road games.
Something will have to give when New England’s high-powered offense clashes with Seattle’s shutdown defense. The Patriots are averaging 34 points per game since Brady’s return, but that production could be difficult to continue against a Seattle scoring defense that ranks third-best in the NFL allowing 16.8 points per game.
Of course, the 7-1 SU and ATS Patriots aren’t only a strong offensive team; their scoring defense is one of the two that ranks higher than Seattle’s allowing only 16.5 points per game.
Giving Bill Belichick and Brady an extra week to prepare usually spells bad news for New England's opponents. New England is 11-2 SU and 7-5-1 ATS in its last 13 games coming off of a bye week per the OddsShark NFL Database.
Betting Line / Total: New England -7.5 / 48.5 Points
Trend: The total has gone OVER in the Seahawks’ last four games against the Patriots.
Trend: The total has gone OVER in five of the Patriots’ last seven games at home.
After slumping on offense in their previous two games, the Seahawks offense came alive with a 31-25 win over the Buffalo Bills on Monday night. Seattle must now travel across the country to take on the best team in the AFC on a short week.
New England has the clear scheduling advantage in this game, but the Seahawks will have the extra motivator of revenge after losing the Super Bowl on the one yard line to the Patriots two seasons ago. Seattle is 4-1 SU and ATS in its last five games against New England.
Sunday’s total is set at 48.5 points. The OVER is 4-0 in the last four games between these two teams.
New England is the odds-on favorite to win the Super Bowl this season, but Seattle isn’t far behind on the betting board and is the co-favorite to win the NFC with Dallas. This should be an exciting game between two of the league’s best teams.
