Bills vs. Seahawks 2016 odds: Seattle a TD favorite against Buffalo for Monday night

The Seattle Seahawks will take a strong betting trend against AFC teams into their matchup with the Buffalo Bills at home on Monday Night Football.

Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports

The Seattle Seahawks are 10-0 straight up and 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 games against AFC opponents. The Seahawks will look to extend that winning streak this Monday night at home against the Buffalo Bills.

Seattle is a 7-point home favorite at CenturyLink Field at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. In their last five games as a favorite of 7.5 points or less, the Seahawks are just 1-4 ATS.

The Seahawks had seemingly shaken off an early season scoring drought with a 3-0 SU and 2-1 ATS run in which they averaged 30 points per game. But those offensive woes have roared back in the team’s last two games, as Seattle managed only six points in a 6-6 tie against Arizona, and 20 points against a weak New Orleans defense in a 25-20 loss to the Saints.

Seattle hopes that a return home after those two disappointing road games will help the Seahawks get back on track offensively.

In Seattle’s last 30 games as a home favorite, the Seahawks are 25-5 SU and 16-13-1 ATS per the OddsShark NFL Database.

Betting Line / Total: Seattle -7 / 43.5 Points

Trend: The Bills are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against the Seahawks.

Trend: The total has gone UNDER in eight of the Bills’ last 10 games as road underdogs.

After shutting out the Patriots in New England back in Week 4 when Tom Brady was serving his suspension, Buffalo predictably faced a very angry New England team last Sunday and wasn’t able to keep up in a 41-25 loss.

With the loss, Buffalo fell to 4-4 SU and ATS on the season. Buffalo has had its offense severely hampered by injuries to its wide receivers and can’t afford to fall behind early in games as it did against New England. The Bills are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against the Seahawks.

Monday night’s total is set at 43.5 points. The OVER is 8-0 in the last eight meetings between these two teams.

Buffalo and Seattle enter Monday night’s action without a win in their last two games. While they’ll both be motivated to end their losing streaks, Buffalo likely needs this game more, since New England is showing no signs of slowing down.
