NFL odds 2016, Week 15: Opening betting lines and analysis for top matchups on the schedule

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be looking to extend their winning streak on the road Sunday at the Cincinnati Bengals as just one of the betting favorites on the Week 15 board.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are 12-1 straight up and 11-1-1 against the spread in their last 13 games played in the month of December. The Steelers will try to pick up another December win this Sunday on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Pittsburgh is a 3-point road favorite at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. With a 27-20 win over Buffalo last Sunday, the Steelers improved to 4-0 SU and ATS over their last four games. Le’Veon Bell blew up the Bills’ defense for 236 rushing yards and three touchdowns while also catching four passes for 62 yards.

Since going 0-3-1 SU and 0-4 ATS in their previous four games, the Bengals are 2-0 SU and ATS in their last two games.

The New England Patriots will have to travel across the country on a short week to play the Broncos in Denver on Sunday. The Patriots haven’t fared well in Denver with just a 1-6 SU and ATS record in their last seven road games against the Broncos.

Denver is just 2-3 SU and ATS over its last five games after losing on the road to the Tennessee Titans last Sunday. The Broncos are 8-2 SU and ATS in their last 10 games as an underdog of three points or less, and they’ll be a 3-point home underdog this Sunday.

The New York Giants shut down the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday night in a 10-7 upset as a 3.5-point home dog. The Giants improved to 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS in their last four games at home, and they’ll be a 5-point favorite this Sunday in their final home game of the regular season when they host the Detroit Lions.

Detroit is 6-2 ATS in their last eight games as a road underdog per the OddsShark NFL Database.

The Cowboys will look to bounce back from their loss to the Giants as a 7-point home favorite on Sunday Night Football against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the Monday Night Football matchup, the Carolina Panthers are a 4.5-point underdog visiting Washington.

The Panthers are 0-6 SU in their last six road games against teams with winning records.
