The NBA’s regular season takes a break this weekend in favor of an All-Star weekend including the Three-Point and Slam Dunk contests.

Curry is a +300 favorite to win the All-Star Game MVP at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. A different winner has been named in the All-Star Game each year for the last six seasons, and Curry is still looking for his first MVP award in this game.
Kevin Durant (+650 to win MVP) and Russell Westbrook (+700) each have one MVP win on their resume while the sentimental favorite may be Kobe Bryant (+700), who will be looking for his fifth All-Star MVP award.
Should the Eastern Conference win the game, LeBron James is a big favorite to take home the MVP hardware at +600. Other potential MVP winners in the East include Kyle Lowry (+1800), DeMar DeRozan (+1800) and Paul George (+2000).
Before the All-Star Game on Sunday, Saturday’s festivities will include the Slam Dunk Contest and the Three-Point Contest.
The world's best three-point shooter and reigning three-point contest champion Steph Curry is the betting favorite to win the event again in 2016 at +100 to come out on top. Curry will try to become the first back-to-back winner of this event since Jason Kapono won it in 2006-07 and 2007-08.
Among his top competitors this season are teammate Klay Thompson (+400), JJ Redick (+500) and Devin Booker (+750). Redick's 47.6% from three-point land on the season is actually higher than Curry's season mark of 45.4%, though Curry has attempted 115 more three-pointers.
The 6'5" high-flying Zach LaVine absolutely ran away with the Slam Dunk Contest last season, and he'll be looking to do the same this year as a -300 favorite over the field.
He'll have to hold off Orlando's Aaron Gordon, Denver's Will Barton (+550) and Detroit's Andre Drummond (+850) to become the first back-to-back winner since Nate Robinson went back-to-back in this event in 2009 and 2010.
