The Golden State Warriors are 26-5 straight up and 18-11-2 against the spread on the road this season. The Warriors enter their fifth game of a seven-game road trip this Wednesday night when they visit the Miami Heat.
Warriors vs. Heat 2016 odds: Golden State favored on road vs. surging Miami
Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors will be looking to avoid an upset on the road against the Miami Heat on Wednesday night.

Golden State is an 8.5-point betting favorite in Miami on Wednesday according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. This will be the 30th time in 32 road games that the Warriors will be the betting favorite this season.
By Golden State’s lofty standards, the team’s last five games haven’t been particularly impressive with a 1-4 ATS record and an outright road loss to Portland in a surprising 137-105 blowout.
But from a big-picture perspective, the Warriors just keep moving along in their historically strong season, boasting a 50-5 SU and 30-23-2 ATS record including a 13-1 SU and 8-6 ATS run over the team’s last 14 games.
Golden State is 20-2 SU in 22 games against Eastern Conference opponents this season.
In the Warriors’ last 30 games as a favorite of 10 points or less, the team is 25-5 SU and 18-11-1 ATS per the OddsShark NBA Database.
Back in January, the Heat sat with a bunch of other fringe playoff teams in the Eastern Conference with a 23-21 SU record. But over their last 12 games, the Heat have surged up to third in the standings with a 9-3 SU and ATS run including six outright upsets. With the team's leading scorer Chris Bosh out with a calf injury, the Heat are still 3-0 SU and ATS over their last three games.
Wednesday’s total is set at 214.5 points. The Warriors are 6-3 on the UNDER over their last nine games while Miami has trended towards the UNDER all season at 20-36.
With Chris Bosh out, it is difficult to see the Heat being able to keep up with Golden State’s firepower on offense. But with a third road game in four nights scheduled for the Warriors on Thursday, Golden State might be inclined to rest its starters as much as possible in this one, potentially setting the stage for a closer game than many may be expecting.
