Three of the last four players to win the Super Bowl MVP award at a position other than quarterback were wide receivers. Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders and Ted Ginn Jr. are among the wideouts in this game hoping to buck that trend and help lead their team to a Super Bowl 50 victory.

Thomas and Greg Olsen are going off as co-favorites to finish the Super Bowl with the most receiving yards at +300 each according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. A tight end has never won the Super Bowl MVP, and Olsen would pay +2500 if he won that award on Sunday.
Denver’s one-two punch of Thomas and Sanders (+325 to finish the game with the most receiving yards) both eclipsed 1100 receiving yards this season, combining for 181 catches and 2,439 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns during the regular season.
With one of the best cornerbacks in the game in Josh Norman on the opposite side of the field, Peyton Manning could target the wide receiver that doesn’t draw Norman as the game goes on.
The Broncos also spread the wealth in the running game, with Ronnie Hillman picking up 863 yards on 207 carries and C.J. Anderson gaining 720 yards on 152 yards during the regular season.
Anderson has received most of the carries recently and has rushed for at least 72 yards in each of Denver’s last four games. Anderson is going off at +135 to finish as the game’s leading rusher and has a yard total set at 62.5 rushing yards.
Jonathan Stewart is a one-man wrecking crew for Carolina, receiving the lion’s share of his team’s carries and rushing yards. His rushing yardage total in the Super Bowl is set at 67.5 yards; a total he has eclipsed in seven straight games and in 10 of his last 11 games.
Stewart is going off at +120 to be the game’s leading rusher over Cam Newton (+500), Ronnie Hillman (+700) and Mike Tolbert (+3300).
As the team’s leading receiver by a comfortable margin in catches and receiving yards, Greg Olsen has a receptions total set at 5.5 catches and a yardage total set at 67.5 yards. Other Carolina receivers hoping to lead the game in receiving yards include Ginn Jr. (+500), Corey Brown (+700) and Jerricho Cotchery (+700)
