Two of the top defenses in the NFL will be on display in Super Bowl 50 when the Denver Broncos take on the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

The Broncos hope that this defense can help lead the team to an upset win over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 on Sunday.
Denver is going off at -150 to record over 2.5 sacks according to the Super Bowl 50 props boards at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Led by linebacker Von Miller with 11 sacks, the Broncos averaged 3.25 sacks per game during the regular season and had four on Tom Brady in the AFC Championship Game.
The line for total sacks by both teams in the game is set at 5.5, with the OVER paying +100 and the UNDER at -130.
While the Broncos had the top defense in the NFL this season rated by total yards surrendered, the Carolina Panthers were the top team in the league when it came to forcing turnovers. The Panthers lead the league in interceptions with 24 and fumble recoveries with 15, racking up 39 turnovers and a +20 turnover differential during the regular season.
Carolina had forced seven turnovers on the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Championship Game. Luke Kuechly has returned a touchdown for an interception in each of Carolina’s last two games and is going off at +275 to intercept a pass on Sunday.

Through the first 49 Super Bowls, nine games have had a safety occur. Interestingly, four of those nine games featuring a safety have come in the last seven years.

A bet on the “Yes” would pay +140 if it hits.
