Nyquist, Exaggerator and Mohaymen are the top three horses on the updated odds to win the 2016 Kentucky Derby at the sportsbooks.

The colt remained perfect in seven career starts by winning the $1 million Florida Derby (G1) on April 2, and is now the early betting favorite at +300 on the latest Kentucky Derby odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
Trained by Doug O’Neill, who won the 2012 Kentucky Derby and Preakness (G1) with I’ll Have Another, the colt is seeking to become just the second horse in history to sweep the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) and the Kentucky Derby. Street Sense pulled off the feat in 2007.
Mohaymen had been the early betting favorite for the 2016 Kentucky Derby since winning the Holy Bull (G3) in January and solidified his position as the favorite by winning the Fountain of Youth (G2) in February, dropping to +225.
However, his showdown with Nyquist in the Florida Derby did not go as expected, the colt fading to finish fourth, and his early betting price for the Kentucky Derby has drifted up to +800.
The big mover in the last week was Exaggerator, who won the Santa Anita Derby (G1) last Saturday and is now the second choice in Kentucky Derby wagering at +750. His price before his victory was +3500 at the sportsbooks.
Trained by Keith Desormeaux, the colt had run second to Nyquist in the San Vicente (G3) in February and was third behind Danzing Candy and Mor Spirit in the San Felipe (G2) before his breakthrough win in the Santa Anita Derby.
Mor Spirit had to settle for second in the Santa Anita Derby and his early betting odds for the Kentucky Derby have gone from +900 in March to his current price of +1500.
Danzing Candy weakened to finish fourth in the Santa Anita Derby and his current price for the Run for the Roses stands at +2200, up from +1200 on April 6.
Gun Runner, who won the Louisiana Derby (G2) on March 26, continues to take action at Kentucky Derby betting sites, currently at odds of +1200. He will be attempting to win the race off a six-week break and sits atop the Road to the Kentucky Derby points standings with 171.
The final major Road to the Kentucky Derby points race is Saturday's $1 million Arkansas Derby (G1) at Oaklawn Park. The Bob Baffert trained Cupid, currently at +1600 for the Kentucky Derby, is likely to go off as the short-priced favorite.
