Blues vs. Sharks 2016 odds: San Jose home betting favorite in Game 6 clincher vs St. Louis
The favored San Jose Sharks host the St. Louis Blues with a chance to end the Western Conference Final in Game 6 of the series on Wednesday.

San Jose is a -160 home favorite in Game 6 at the SAP Center at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Blues are going off at +140 to pull off the upset on the road.
The Sharks bounced back nicely from their worst game of the series in Game 4 with a strong performance in Game 5, erasing two St. Louis leads in the second period before eventually running away with the game in the third period for a 6-3 victory.
Joe Pavelski scored his 11th and 12th goals of the postseason in the win, tying the game at 3-3 in the second period and taking the lead 16 seconds into the third. Pavelski and Logan Couture lead the NHL in scoring this postseason with 21 points each.
The Blues are 2-0 in games in which they have faced elimination this season. The Sharks are 2-1 in potential series-ending games.
Coming off back-to-back shutout losses in Game 2 and Game 3, the Blues switched out starting goaltender Brian Elliot for Jake Allen to give the team a spark. The spark seemed to work in Game 4 when the Blues upset the Sharks 6-3 in San Jose, but Allen allowed four goals on 25 shots in Game 5 for just an .840 save percentage.
Facing elimination in Game 6, the Blues will turn back to Brian Elliot in goal. St. Louis is 6-3 in nine road games this postseason.
Wednesday’s total is set at five goals. Each of the last two games in this series have gone OVER the total with nine goals after the previous three went UNDER the total with four goals or less, according to the OddsShark NHL Database.
San Jose has scored at least three goals in each of the last four games in this series. If the Blues are going to force a Game 7, they will likely need to do so by finding a rhythm on offense.
