The Toronto Raptors are 6-6 straight up and 7-5 against the spread in their last 12 road games against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but that includes a stretch of four straight losses. The Raptors will try to break that four-game road losing streak against the Cavaliers this Wednesday night.
Raptors vs. Cavaliers Game 5 odds: Toronto has Game 5 momentum as a double-digit underdog
The Toronto Raptors hope to carry their home success into a road upset over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 of the all-square Eastern Finals.

Toronto is a 10.5-point road underdog in Game 5 at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Cleveland was an 11-point favorite in Game 1 and an 11.5-point favorite in Game 2.
Home court completely changed the complexion of this series for the Raptors. After dropping Game 1 by 31 points and Game 2 by 19, the Raptors turned the series upside down in Toronto with a 15-point win in Game 3 and a six-point win in Game 4.
While the home crowd undoubtedly played a part, the Raptors also got much better offensive performances from DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry. DeRozan had 32 points in both of Toronto’s wins.
The Cavaliers have dominated at home this postseason. In six wins, the Cavaliers are 5-1 ATS per the OddsShark NBA Database, with an average margin of victory of 18 points per game.
Cleveland’s home and road splits were fairly drastic this postseason, but no one was predicting that the Cavaliers would lose both games outright as 6-point favorites in Games 3 and 4. With homecourt advantage in this series, the Cavaliers won’t need to win a game in Toronto to win the series, but their air of invincibility has been removed.
The Cavaliers allowed 102 points per game to Toronto over the last two games after allowing only 86.5 points per game in the first two games in the series. The Cavaliers are 7-0 SU and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games as a double-digit favorite.
Wednesday night’s total is set at 199 points. The UNDER is 3-1-1 in the last five games between these two teams.
With the series coming back to Cleveland, many are expecting the Cavaliers to get back to dominating as they did in the early stages of the series. But the Raptors have some confidence and momentum this time around, and they’ll try to use that to pull off a stunner on the road in Game 5.
