Chile has won each of its last three matches in the Copa América tournament. On Wednesday, Chile will try to punch its ticket to the final with a win over Colombia at Soldier Field in Chicago.
Colombia vs. Chile odds, Copa América 2016: Chile small favorite vs. Colombia in semifinal
Chile and Colombia battle for a spot in the Copa América final this Wednesday night in Chicago with a tight betting line at sportsbooks.

The defending Copa América champions are a +150 betting favorite to win in regulation in Wednesday’s semifinal match at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Colombia is going off at +195 to win in regulation while the game going to extra time would pay +215.
Recent form was a concern coming into the Copa América for Chile, as the national team was just 1-4 in its previous five matches. But after losing 2-1 to Argentina in the first game of the tournament, Chile has turned it on with three straight wins, topping Bolivia and Panama in the group stage and then trouncing Mexico in a 7-0 blowout win last Saturday.
Last year’s top goalscorer, Eduardo Vargas, had four goals in the rout, bringing his total to six through the first four games of this tournament.
Including its championship run in the 2015 Copa América, Chile is now 8-1-1 in its last 10 Copa América games. They trail only Argentina on the overall odds to win the tournament at the sportsbooks.
Colombia had a five-match winning streak snapped in a 3-2 loss to Costa Rica in the final game of the group stage, but the team bounced back with a win over Peru in the quarterfinals. The defensive struggle between the two teams resulted in a 0-0 draw all the way up to penalties, where Colombia prevailed with a 4-2 edge.
Colombia and Chile have been extremely evenly matched over the last two decades with a 5-5-5 record in 15 games against one another, including two straight draws.
Wednesday night’s total is set at two goals. There have been at least two goals scored in 12 of Chile’s last 13 games and in each of the last eight games between Chile and Colombia.
If Chile wasn’t getting the respect it deserved coming into this tournament, the team’s 7-0 win over Mexico served as a reminder that this is a very dangerous side. Colombia’s defending is much stronger than Mexico’s, however, and on paper this shapes up as a fairly even matchup between two strong teams.
