Euro 2016 Round of 16 odds: Portugal, Ronaldo among Euro underdogs on the Saturday slate
Saturday’s Euro 2016 betting card features Wales vs. Northern Ireland, Croatia vs. Portugal and Switzerland vs. Poland.

The Croats are going off at +164 to win this match in regulation at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Portugal would pay +220 on a regulation win, while the game going to extra time is going off at +205.
Portugal didn’t pick up a single win in group play, drawing all three of their games. Ronaldo was criticized for an awful game in a 0-0 draw against Austria, but bounced back with a brilliant two-goal game in a 3-3 draw against Hungary.
A goal in the 87th minute against Spain gave Croatia a 2-1 lead in the team’s final game of the group stage and earned Croatia the top spot of Group D with a 2-0-1 record.
Elsewhere, Gareth Bale’s talent has been on full display in the Euro 2016 tournament as the Welsh star has scored three goals in leading Wales to a 2-1 record and the top seed in Group B. Wales is the biggest favorite on the board on Saturday, going off at +104 on the three-way line over Northern Ireland at +394 and the regulation draw at +206.
Northern Ireland finished third in Group C with a 1-2 record, but was able to advance into the knockout round thanks to the goal differential tiebreaker among third-place finishers and their win over Ukraine. The Group C third-place finishers had two goals and allowed two goals in the group stage for a zero-goal differential.
The Round of 16 opens on Saturday with a match between Switzerland (+240) and Poland (+138), with odds of the game going to extra time at +190. Switzerland’s strong defense helped the Swiss play home country France to a 0-0 draw and secure the second spot in Group A with a 1-0-2 record.
Poland looked impressive in the group stage, winning games over Northern Ireland and Ukraine and playing Germany to a 0-0 draw. Along with Germany, Poland was one of two teams in the group stage to not allow a single goal with three straight clean sheets, but they enter the Round of 16 back in the pack at +2500 on the odds to win Euro 2016.
