Argentina is a perfect 9-0-0 in its last nine games including five wins in the 2016 Copa America Centenario. A champion will be crowned this Sunday in East Rutherford when Argentina takes on Chile in a rematch of last summer's Copa America Championship Game.
Argentina vs. Chile 2016 odds, Copa America final: Argentina betting favorite in Copa final
In a rematch of the 2015 Copa America final, favored Argentina meets underdog Chile on Sunday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.

The Argentinians are a -140 favorite to win Sunday’s final in regulation on the three-way betting line at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Chile is going off at +400 to win the game in regulation while odds on a draw are going off at +260.
Without allowing the host country a single shot on goal, Argentina steamrolled into the Copa America Championship Game with a 4-0 win over the United States in the semifinals. It was the team’s fourth straight win by a margin of at least three goals, and brought Argentina’s goal differential in the Copa America Tournament to +16 with 18 goals scored and two goals allowed in five games.
Since losing to Chile in penalties in the Copa America 2015 final, Argentina has played against Chile twice. Argentina came away with 2-1 wins in both of those games, including a win in the group stage of this tournament in which Lionel Messi did not play.
Chile bounced back from a 2-1 loss to Argentina in the first game of group play with four straight wins, defeating Bolivia and Panama in the group stage and then Mexico and Colombia in the knockout stage.
Mexico and Colombia were both popular dark horse picks in this event, but Chile knocked both of them off with ease in a 7-0 win over Mexico and a 2-0 win over Colombia. Chile had two goals in the first 11 minutes against Colombia and held on the rest of the way. Chile is a +200 underdog on the outright odds to win the Copa America.
Sunday’s total is set at 2.5 goals. While each of the last two games between Chile and Argentina have gone OVER that total, last year’s Copa America final had no goals with a 0-0 score heading into penalties.
Messi is considered by many to be the best player in the world, but success on the international stage has eluded him to this point in his career. Argentina has a prime opportunity to avenge last year’s loss and to win a major international tournament this weekend, but that opportunity will come against a very strong and dangerous Chile side.
