Novak Djokovic has won five of the last six major events in tennis and is the current champion of all four grand slam events. Djokovic now looks to secure his third straight Wimbledon title.
Wimbledon 2016 odds: Novak Djokovic, Serena Williams clear betting favorites at sportsbooks
Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams have been listed as the betting favorites as they each try to add another Wimbledon title to their resume.

The Serbian superstar is a -150 betting favorite to win the event at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. After falling shy of the calender grand slam last season with only a loss in the French Open, Djokovic is in position to run the table this year after finally adding that grand slam jewel to his resume.
Djokovic has been in a league of his own over the last two seasons, and his back-to-back wins in this event indicate how well he plays at Wimbledon.
The last person to hold the Wimbledon title before Djokovic was Andy Murray, who topped Djokovic in straight sets in the final to claim his second grand slam title and his first Wimbledon title in 2013.
Andy Murray (+350 to win at Wimbledon) has advanced to the finals in both the Australian Open and the French Open this year but has been bested by Djokovic both times. Should the two meet again in this tournament, Murray will have a passionate home crowd advantage behind him.
Roger Federer’s first grand slam title came at Wimbledon in 2003, and his most recent one came in this event back in 2012. After missing the French Open with an injury, Federer returns to action at Wimbledon going off at +1200 to win his eighth Wimbledon title.
Other contenders on the men’s side on the tennis betting board include Milos Raonic (+1400), Nick Kyrgios (+2200) Stan Wawrinka (+2500), Kei Nishikori (+3300), and Dominic Thiem (+3300).
On the women’s side, Serena Williams is a +150 favorite to win the Wimbledon title. Williams has won four of the last seven Wimbledon tournaments, but has failed to win a major in each of her last three appearances since winning the Australian Open, French Open, and Wimbledon last season.
Other women in the running on the tennis betting lines include Garbine Muguruza (+550), Petra Kvitova (+600), Madison Keys (+1400), Angelique Kerber (+2200), Simona Halep (+2500) and Agnieszka Radwanska (+2500).
Kvitova has two Wimbledon titles, coming out on top in London in both 2011 and 2014.
