2016 PGA Championship odds: Henrik Stenson follows the betting favorites at 4th major of season
Henrik Stenson is one of the many contenders on the odds to win the PGA Championship at Baltusrol this weekend at the sportsbooks.

Stenson is going off at +1400 on the odds to win the PGA Championship at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. In a simply sensational performance, Stenson shot 20-under par to outduel Phil Mickelson's 17-under week at the British Open to come away with the major title.
The two golfers cleared the rest of the field by over 10 strokes each in that event. Mickelson is going off at +1800 this week to win the PGA Championship at the sportsbooks.
Of golf’s “Big Four,” Rory McIlroy (+900 to win the PGA Championship) had the best showing in the British Open with a T5 finish. McIlroy has now finished in the top five in three of his last five tournaments and appears to be in good form coming into this event. McIlroy won the PGA Championship in 2012 and in 2014.
Dustin Johnson (+800) wasn’t far behind McIlroy in the British Open with a ninth-place finish. Johnson is the hottest golfer on the PGA Tour right now with five top-five finishes in his last six tournament appearances including a win at the U.S. Open, a win at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational and a runner-up finish at the RBC Canadian Open last week.
The FedExCup points leader will look for his third win in his last five events this weekend.
Jason Day (+900) is second in the FedExCup standings this season and first on the PGA Tour in tournament wins with three. Day is the defending champion in this event after winning the first major championship of his career in the PGA Championship last year.
Other contenders in the mix to win the PGA Championship on the golf odds at the sportsbooks include Jordan Spieth (+1400), Sergio Garcia (+2500), Justin Rose (+2800), Adam Scott (+3300), Bubba Watson (+3300), Rickie Fowler (+3900), Matt Kuchar (+4000), and Patrick Reed (+4300).
Spieth has finished outside of the top 25 in three of his last four events.
