Home favorites went a perfect 4-0 straight up and against the spread last weekend in the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs. The New England Patriots will be one of four home favorites hoping to continue that trend when they host the Houston Texans this Saturday.

The New England Patriots will have the biggest spread to cover among the four home favorites on the NFL betting lines for the Divisional Round of the playoffs.


New England is a 15.5-point home favorite over Houston at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Even after defeating the Oakland Raiders, 27-14, last Saturday, the Texans are just 2-5 SU and ATS in their last seven games against teams with winning records.
The Patriots are 17-3 SU in their last 20 games as a postseason favorite and 5-0 SU in their last five games against Houston, including a 27-0 shutout victory at home back in Week 3.
In the earlier game on Saturday, the Atlanta Falcons are a 4.5-point favorite at home hosting the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle is 14-5-1 ATS in its last 20 games as an underdog of 4.5 points or less and has 10 outright upsets over that stretch, but over the last two seasons the Seahawks are 0-3-1 SU as small underdogs.
Atlanta is just 4-10 ATS in its last 14 games as a home favorite despite winning four of its last five games at home outright per the OddsShark NFL Database.
Sunday’s action begins with the Pittsburgh Steelers visiting the Kansas City Chiefs. With last Sunday’s 30-12 win over the Miami Dolphins, the Steelers improved to 8-0 SU and 6-1-1 ATS over their last eight games.
Kansas City ended its regular season on a 5-1 SU and ATS run, and will now try to break out of a 1-9 SU and ATS postseason slump. The Chiefs are 3-1 SU and 4-0 ATS in their last four home games against the Steelers and are going off as 2-point favorites on Sunday.
The Dallas Cowboys are 7-0 SU and 5-2 ATS at home since losing their season-opening game to the New York Giants. That home winning streak will be put to the test this Sunday when the Cowboys host the Green Bay Packers as 4-point home favorites.
Dallas is 0-4 SU and 1-3 ATS in its last four Divisional Round games, and Green Bay comes in red hot with a 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS record over its last seven games.
