Cavaliers vs. Warriors 2017 odds: Golden State looks to end SU, ATS skid against Cleveland

The Golden State Warriors have lost and failed to cover four straight games against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers as the teams get set to meet again on Monday.

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The Golden State Warriors are 0-4 straight up and against the spread in their last four games against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Warriors will try to snap this four-game losing streak with a win over Cleveland at home on Monday night.

Golden State is an 8-point home favorite in Oakland at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Before losing each of their last four games to Cleveland, the Warriors were 8-1 SU and 7-2 ATS in their previous nine games against the Cavaliers.

The rich got richer when Kevin Durant joined the Warriors this offseason, and this offense continues to shine on a nightly basis. Led by the sensational scoring trio of Durant, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson, Golden State has the best offense in the NBA with 117.5 points per game and the best record in the league at 34-6 SU.

The Warriors failed to get revenge for their loss in the NBA Finals to the Cavaliers on Christmas Day in Cleveland, but they’ll get another shot this week.

In their last 25 games as a home favorite of 9.5 points or less, the Warriors are 21-4 SU and 17-8 ATS, per the OddsShark NBA Database.

Betting Line / Total: Golden State -8 / 225 Points

The Warriors are 0-4 SU and ATS in their last four games against the Cavaliers.

The UNDER is 12-5-2 in the last 19 games between Golden State and Cleveland.

The Cavaliers broke out of a two-game losing streak with a 120-108 road win over the Sacramento Kings last Friday. Cleveland’s win over Golden State on Christmas capped a 10-1 SU and 9-2 ATS run, but the Cavaliers have been in a bit of a rut since then with a 6-4 SU and 2-7-1 ATS record in their last 10 games.

With a 29-10 SU and 17-20-2 ATS record, Cleveland currently holds the top spot in the Eastern Conference.

Monday night’s total is set at 225 points. The UNDER is 12-5-2 in the last 19 games between Cleveland and Golden State.

After meeting in each of the last two NBA Finals and being heavily favored to meet there again this season, Cleveland and Golden State have developed quite a rivalry. Both teams are well-rested and should be ready for another intense showdown on Monday night. This is the last regular season meeting between these two teams.
