Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks had a 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS streak snapped last Sunday in heartbreaking fashion. Seattle took a 14-10 lead on what appeared to be a game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter against the Washington Redskins only to surrender a touchdown 35 seconds later to lose the game, 17-14.
With the loss, Seattle fell one game behind the surprising 6-2 SU Los Angeles Rams for the top spot in the NFC West.
Pete Carroll has done an excellent job in recent seasons of getting the Seahawks to bounce back from their bad losses. Seattle is 8-0 SU and 6-1-1 ATS in its last eight games coming off a loss as a favorite.
Arizona Cardinals
With last Sunday’s 20-10 win and cover on the road against the San Francisco 49ers, the Cardinals improved to 4-4 SU and 2-6 ATS on the year.
A soft schedule has helped keep Arizona afloat through the first half of the 2017 season. The Cardinals have beaten San Francisco twice, as well as Tampa Bay and Indianapolis. Those three teams have a combined record of 5-21 SU. Arizona is 0-6 ATS in its last six home games against division rivals.
Thursday night’s total is set at 41.5 points. The OVER is 10-3 in the last 13 games these two teams have played in Arizona according to the OddsShark NFL Database.
Arizona is one of five teams in the NFC entering this week’s action at 4-4 SU, and Seattle is tied with Dallas in sixth place in the NFC standings at 5-3 SU. This figures to be a tight race for playoff spots over the second half of the season, and head-to-head divisional battles like this one will go a long way in determining who makes the cut.
